Women play an important role in farming, doing much of the labor involved in planting, weeding, harvesting and mulching. We believe in the empowerment of women and hire women to do the same jobs as men, everything from working the fields to operating heavy machinery. We also assure that their voices are represented in Community Committees to address their specific needs and concerns, requiring that women comprise at least 40 percent of the committees.
