Pursuing its goal to cut their carbon emissions by half by 2012, Mesta AS has been able to reduce its carbon emissions by approximately 88 tons per [DAY?] by using biodiesel from BioDiesel Norge.
"We are at the beginning of this experiment using biodiesel," said Birger S. Clementsen, district director of Mesta AS. "In just one year at our base here in Stavanager alone we were able to significantly reduce our carbon emissions, which is an enormous accomplishment."
Mesta, a forerunner in use of environmentally friendly energy consumption, converted as many of its trucks and machines as possible to clean-burning biodiesel from BioDiesel Norge in order to move toward its aggressive carbon emissions reduction goal.
